DO YOU DELIVER TO AUSTRALIA?

Unfortunately not, we are currently only set up to deliver to New Zealand residential and business addresses only (no PO Box addresses).

HOW IS MY GIFT PACKAGED?

Gifts are sent in our beautifully presented giftboxes. They’re packaged with tissue paper and natural compostable wood wool and if required, breakable items may be individually gift wrapped for added protection. An outer courier box is used to provided added protection and can be removed when presenting the gift in person.

DO YOU ACCEPT LARGE ORDERS?

We do, if you’d like to place a large order, and/or require an invoice, please connect with hello@giftlocal.co.nz to discuss your gifting requirements. 

DO YOU PERSONALISE GIFTS?

Yes! You can personalise your gift by adding a custom message on or inside the box, adding that extra personal touch to make your gift truly unique.

I CAN’T SEEM TO FIND THAT PERFECT BOX, CAN I BUY INDIVIDUAL PRODUCTS OR MAKE MY OWN?

Absolutely! We offer a "Build Your Own Gift Box" service, where you can handpick individual items to create a gift that's just right for your recipient. Head over to our custom gift section here, design a box filled with your chosen New Zealand-made treasures, add a gift box to your cart then add a personal message.

DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS OR RETURNS?

In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with your purchase, or the item is faulty, please contact our team within 7 days of receiving the item on hello@giftlocal.co.nz.

No Refund

We are unable to refund for ‘change-of-mind’ purchases or any custom orders, due to the type of products we sell for example perishable goods such as food cannot be returned.

Any items not in their original condition, damaged or with missing parts for reasons not due to our error will not be refunded.

Any item that is returned more than 30 days after purchasing will not be refunded. 

Returns and Refunds

The item must be returned within 30 days of purchase, if 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to us without prior correspondence.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed to your original method of payment, within a reasonable time frame.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at hello@giftlocal.co.nz

Shipping

Initial shipping costs are non-refundable. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item, unless the item is faulty.

If you are shipping a higher value item, you should consider using a trackable shipping service as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
